Message from ProGreen's Founder and President
 My name is Steve Walker, President and Founder of
ProGreen International, Inc. Like most golfers, I had the dream of
having my own personal backyard putting green. I spoke with my local
golf course greens-keepers and realized I didn't have the time,
expertise, or equipment to maintain a natural green. After extensive
research, I found a sand-filled, synthetic tennis court product. I
worked with the manufacturer to make it more conducive to putting
greens. On May 1, 1987, ProGreen Grass was born and synthetic grass has
forever changed.We evolved from
artificial putting greens to synthetic grass lawns, playground areas,
dog-runs, bocce ball courts, and athletic fields. We were the first
synthetic turf company to develop many of the innovations that the artificial
grass industry takes for granted today.
I have been personally involved in hundreds of synthetic grass installations and have
continually made improvements to our synthetic grass systems. I became
personally involved with the manufacturing process; continually improving the
quality and realism of our turf products. What makes ProGreen Grass stand
