"Like most golfers, I had the dream of having my own personal backyard putting green. I spoke with my local golf course greens-keepers and realized I didn't have the time, expertise, or equipment to maintain a natural green. After extensive research, I found a sand-filled, synthetic tennis court product. I worked with the manufacturer to make it more conducive to putting greens. On May 1, 1987, ProGreen Synthetic Grass™ was born and synthetic grass has forever changed. We evolved from artificial putting greens to synthetic grass lawns, playground areas, dog-runs, bocce ball courts, and athletic fields. We were the first synthetic turf company to develop many of the innovations that the artificial grass industry takes for granted today."
