How do I calculate my square footage?

When inquiring about artificial grass, especially how much it will cost, knowing the size of your project is an important piece of information to have since synthetic turf is priced by the square foot. If you do not know the square footage of your yard, we are here to help you calculate it.

The first piece of information you need to know is the dimensions of your project, particularly the width and the length. If your lawn is not a perfect rectangle or square, measure the widest and longest parts of your lawn to ensure you get enough turf to completely cover it.

The second step involves a little math; multiply the width by the length to get your final square footage. Here is an example:

20 feet wide x 30 feet long = 600 square feet

To calculate the total cost for the synthetic grass, multiply the total square footage of turf needed by the price per square foot.

NOTE: ProGreen Synthetic Grass™ is delivered in rolls, just like carpet. Like carpet, sometimes you will need to order more turf than you actually need in order to cover the desired space.

If you have any questions or need help measuring the square footage of your lawn, please do not hesitate to contact us.
